Vancouver Pride Festival
July 28 – August 6

Bard on the Beach

A popular activity throughout the summer, Bard on the Beach returns for its 34th season with a fantastic lineup of live theater performances at Vanier Park.

PNE Fair
August 19 – September 4

Located adjacent to Playland, the PNE Fair offers something for the entire family. From agriculture displays, where kids can learn all about a wide array of farm animals, to mini doughnuts, beer gardens, and live shows, you’re sure to stay entertained for the entire day.

Catch a BC Lions Home Game

August sees Vancouver’s BC Lions hosting two teams at BC Place Stadium on August 12 and 26. Whether you’re cheering for the home team or not, it’s sure to be a great event.

Evo Summer Cinema Series

Occurs weekly on Tuesdays until August 22

Who doesn’t love watching a movie on the big screen, especially if it’s free?! Every Tuesday evening until August 22, head on over to Stanley Park by 2nd Beach to experience the largest outdoor movie series in Canada. General seating is free, on a first come first serve basis.
